  • Fall Folk Arts Festival

    Sept 28 - 29, 2024

    @ The Exchange Place, Kingsport, TN

    The farmstead bustles with activity as Exchange Place celebrates pioneer arts and crafts and the harvest season with its 52nd Fall Folk Arts Festival. The event features artisans demonstrating and selling a wide array of traditional folk arts, along with vendors selling autumn plants and seasonal crafts. The Festival also offers old-time music, food, and children’s activities, as well as demonstrations of fall activities on a 19th century farm, such as sorghum making, gourd crafting, blacksmithing, and open hearth cooking.

  • Erwin Apple Festival

    The Unicoi County Apple Festival, coordinated by the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce, is a premier two-day festival that has spanned more than four decades of longevity in Erwin, Tennessee. With an annual attendance of more than 110,000 attendees, the festival includes over 400 food and craft vendors, two entertainment stages, contests, activities, and much more.

  • Oktoberfest

    We’ve got lots of reasons for you to grab your beer stein, put on your Lederhosen or your dirndl and head to Sugar Mountain Resort Saturday & Sunday, October 12 & 13, 2024. The Harbour Towne Fest Band will provide a festive Bavarian atmosphere to Sugar’s annual Oktoberfest celebration. Rain, shine or snow the festival will go on!

  • Wooly Worm Festival

    The 47th Annual Woolly Worm Festival takes place the 3rd weekend of October, falling on the 19th and 20th in 2024, in the quaint mountain town of Banner Elk North Carolina.  We think it’s the perfect time to share some tips that will make your experience a good one while at the festival and getting to the festival.

  • Christmas In The Country

    @ The Exchange Place, Kingsport, TN

    Exchange Place ushers in the holiday season with Christmas in the Country. Fresh greenery, handcrafted wreaths and roping, unique folk arts and handcrafts, traditional holiday foods will be for sale and many unique demonstrations for all ages to enjoy. The Yule Log ceremony at the end of the festival offers a chance to participate in an age-old Christmas tradition, sing carols, sip wassail, and encourage luck for the New Year.
